Hi, my name is Jess - Nice to meet you!
I am starting this blog because I am passionate in helping people 60+ become stronger both mentally and physically through exercise and fitness.
I have many years of personal training and instructing group fitness classes and have seen first hand the amazing benefits from exercise in all aspects of life - mentally, emotionally, socially and physically.
Especially during this time of Covid, which has caused a lot of social isolation leading to mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. It is harder to stay active - classes are cancelled, gyms are closed and now the weather has turned cold.
Now more than ever, it is important to create a community of individuals coming together as a whole to support each other, share information, and get active!
This is a blog for everyone 60+ - I will be providing relevant information relating to health, nutrition, fitness, mindset, motivation, goals and support.
I look forward to providing relevant information, to answering any questions you may have and creating a community of like minded individuals!
